College football Week 13
How do you get a University of Michigan graduate off your porch? Pay him for the pizza.
Tough games to pick this week:
- Michigan +17 at Ohio State (8). I don't know if I can even call this a tough game to pick. O-H!
- Florida +2.5 at Florida State (22). Another big rivalry game this weekend. The Gators just ain't the competitors they used to be, so this one will go to the Seminoles.
- Michigan State (11) at Penn State +1. I can't figure out why there is essentially no point spread on this game between a Top 25 team and one that has hardly been on the radar this year. But, I also see the Nittany Lions poised for a big upset over the Spartans.

College football Week 12
An 8-point week dropped me to third with 101 total points. Only six points behind first place, but that's a big gap with little time remaining in the season.
Tough games to pick this week:
- Ohio State (8) at Iowa (21) +3. I've been picking with Ricky Stanzi's Hawkeyes for the entire season, but I'm going to have to go against the Lake Catholic grad for my Buckeyes. Last week Iowa lost a game it shouldn't have, and while I think this will be close, I'm giving the edge to Ohio State.
- Wisconsin (6) at Michigan +5. That School Up North was playing better earlier this season, but I'm surprised to see such a low point spread. Maybe Wisconsin's 83-20 win over Indiana last week is a misrepresentation of the Badgers' performance. But there is no reason they shouldn't roll over the Wolverines, even in the Big House.
- Oklahoma (16) at Baylor +7.5. The Sooners' two losses have been to unranked teams. I see the Baylor Bears handing them another one this weekend.
- Nebraska (9) at Texas A&M (18) +2.5. The Cornhuskers have the better record, but the Aggies have homefield advantage. This game promises to be an excellent primetime matchup, with the underdog pulling an upset.

College football Week 11
I moved up to second place in my pick'em league after a 9-11 Week 10, but first place has six games on me. That lead's not out of reach, as long as I can get some plus+50 weeks.
Tough games to pick this week:
- Penn State +18 at Ohio State (8). The Nittany Lions just ain't what they used to be, and the Buckeyes are rolling. They'll keep rolling in Ohio Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
- Oregon (1) at California +19.5. Normally this point spread is something I would pick against. I just don't trust the favored team to cover. But, I'm liking the Ducks so far this season, and I'd like to see them win and win big.
- South Carolina (22) +5.5 at Florida (24). South Carolina has proved it can perform well under pressure and at tough games. Florida just isn't what it used to be. Give this one to the Gamecocks.

College football Week 10
I moved up to third place with a 10-9-1 Week 9. Now let's get above 50 percent for Week 10 ...
Tough games to pick this week:
- TCU (4) at Utah (6) +4.5. This season has been pretty wild, so remaining undefeated through Week 9 is impressive. Unfortunately, that comes to an end in Week 10 for the Horned Frogs or the Utes. The higher-ranked TCU is favored, but I'm pulling for the under dogs at home.
- Alabama (5) at LSU (12) +6. The Tide and Tigers both stand at 7-1. While the homefield advantage should help out LSU in this game, Alabama has been playing better and will come out the victor in this match-up.
- Missouri (14) at Texas Tech +4. I was pretty high on the Tigers last week, and they didn't live up to my expectations. They aren't favored by much in this game, and I think the Red Raiders will get the best of them.
